Founder of The Fool's Journey, I spent 15 years testing alternative practices both out of curiosity and necessity. Take a shortcut. I want to help you find lasting solutions to your daily ailments.

My body made me realize on several occasions that I was poorly managing my stress. I followed the classic treatments, I took the drugs, but it did not cure the substance. I pursued an exploratory and initiatory journey of therapies of all kinds, and I found solutions that relieve me much better.  

 

I am a tester of the holistic world and of alternative practices, a sort of Jérôme Bonaldi or the Goop team of Gwyneth Paltrow.

Modern medicine is extraordinary, global life expectancy has doubled since 1900

Scientific progress, reduction in infant mortality, better access to food ... we are blessed. We are fortunate that science has found cures for many diseases.

When we are sick, we see a doctor, and we take treatment. 

The discomfort, psychosomatic, or so-called stress illnesses have also increased, and the drug solution does not always resolve the underlying problem.

When you've seen the doctor 5 times this year to stop the stomachache or are just fed up with taking this cortisone cream, it's time to take the big picture and explore other avenues. . I often hear "I have been told to relax my stomach aches go away, but what does it mean to relax?"

One of the explanations is your nervous system is exhausted. our ancestors faced many dangers and had to protect themselves from many predators, bears, tigers, spiders or poisonous snakes ... they needed to make sure that if they were faced with danger they could react quickly . This is called the 'flight or fight mode': a natural reaction that alerts your body to imminent danger.

Your brain, more precisely the amygdala, sends messages to your body indicating danger, increasing your heart rate (to make you run faster), making you sweat (to keep you cool) ...

Unfortunately, the flight or fight response can be out of whack due to too many stimuli. When your body reacts as if it is in danger without any threat to your safety, you feel anxious. In the long run, this causes an exhausted nervous system and can trigger physical symptoms.

Alternative practices and holistic medical approaches provide relief, unfortunately they do not always have a good reputation

They are numerous practices that fall under alternatives therapies or practices. From old-fashioned herbal medicine to esoteric practices even massages : This world is very broad. These practices can work and their effectiveness depends on the person. For the skeptical, before clearing all practices out of hand, let's start by understanding them and deciphering their effectiveness. For the curious, you may want to have some key to choose the correct practices.

A French Interministerial organisation (MIVILUDES) has seen a 40% increase in complaints in 5 years. Among the multiple cases, MIVILUDES alerts all particularly on the increase in reports of influence phenomena psychological and financial fraud in the field of health, well-being and personal development, which now represent nearly half of the referrals collected by the Interministerial Mission.​

I'm convinced that these practices help many people. Thus, we want to help you decipher this universe so that you can test these practices with confidence, and find the right practionner.
